Oven Roasted Pan Seared Steak
Preheat oven to 475 degrees.

This will take about 20 minutes for rare steak and up to about 40 minutes for medium well. Cook steaks in the hot skillet until lightly browned on the bottom 2 1 2 minutes. Place skillet with steaks into the oven. Flip steak then transfer immediately to preheated oven. Add butter and aromatics melt in butter with quartered garlic cloves and rosemary sprigs. Melt butter and oil in a 12 inch cast iron or oven safe pan over medium high heat.
Transfer to a plate. Transfer skillet to oven. Place ribeye steak in skillet and sear for 2 minutes.
